Dental implants are the most predictable and longest lasting way to replace missing teeth. They have been used in dentistry for decades, and with great results. Studies show that, under ideal conditions, they are 98% successful.
An ideal patient for dental implants should have enough bone structure to hold the implant stable. He or she needs to be in good health condition too. If you suffer from uncontrolled diabetes, hypertension, osteoporosis, arthritis, smoking the success rate of the implant may be reduced.
There are many protocols to place and restore dental implants, but we believe in the ones that generic studies and our own experience have proven to be the most successful:
Orthodontic treatment can straighten teeth and correct a misaligned bite, but in some cases, it can take several years to achieve the end result. Before beginning treatment, it is important to investigate your options and speak with your dentist and/or orthodontist to find out which orthodontics solution is best for you.
Orthodontists align teeth with braces by applying constant pressure in a desired direction. The pressure is adjusted at prescribed intervals over the course of the orthodontic treatment, which can last from one to three years or longer depending on the severity of the patient’s case. There are several types of orthodontic braces available to consumers, including the traditional metal braces and new clear braces.
Tooth Colored Filling
Tooth colored fillings, also called white fillings, are dental fillings that restore and mimic the natural appearance of tooth structure. In addition to restoring teeth that have fractured or decayed, tooth colored fillings may also be used cosmetically to change the size, color and shape of teeth.
Tooth Whitening (or) Bleaching
Professional bleaching is the most usual method of tooth whitening. Your dental team will be able to tell you if you are
suitable for the treatment, and will supervise it if you are. First the dental team will put a rubber shield or a gel on your
gums to protect them. They will then apply the whitening product to your teeth, using a specially made tray which fits into
your mouth like a mouthguard.
The ‘active ingredient' in the product is usually hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide. As the active ingredient is
broken down, oxygen gets into the enamel on the teeth and the tooth colour is made lighter.
